Photo Sneak Peek at Billy Crudup in the Vineyard's Hot New Drama The Metal Children

In an exciting theatrical matchup, Tony Award winner Billy Crudup is starring in Adam Rapp’s new drama The Metal Children at off-Broadway’s Vineyard Theatre. Inspired by an incident from Rapp’s own life, the play deals with what happens when the author of a young adult novel that’s been banned by a small-town school board travels to the town to defend his work. The production marks Crudup’s first time onstage since his Tony win three years ago for The Coast of Utopia, and we’re eager to see him (and a supporting cast that includes Phoebe Strole and Betsy Aidem) in this provocative new play.
