Tony Award winner Sutton Foster will play a series of concerts at the Café Carlyle from June 15 through 26. The show, Sutton Foster at the Carlyle, is described as an eclectic evening of songs from Foster’s debut album Wish as well as other pop songs, show tunes and standards. Michael Rafter, Foster’s music director, will accompany her on piano, along with Kevin Kuhn on guitar.
Foster recently starred in the Encores! production of Anyone Can Whistle. She was last seen on Broadway in her Tony- nominated turn as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical. She has also starred in Young Frankenstein, The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women and a Tony-winning performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Her other credits include Les Miserables, Grease and Annie.
