A starry list of presenters for the 2010 Tony Awards telecast has been announced, including Glee headliners and Broadway vets Lea Michele (Spring Awakening) and Matthew Morrison (South Pacific), Cate Blanchett (acclaimed for her star turn this season in A Streetcar Named Desire at BAM) and Best Actor nominee Denzel Washington (Fences).
Other announced presenters include Antonio Banderas (Nine), Justin Bartha (Lend Me a Tenor), Michael Douglas, Kelsey Grammer (nominee for La Cage aux Folles, Scarlett Johansson (nominee for A View from the Bridge), Laura Linney (nominee for Time Stands Still), Lucy Liu (God of Carnage), Helen Mirren, Chris Noth, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce, Tony Shalhoub (Lend Me a Tenor), Liev Schreiber (nominee for A View from the Bridge) and Raquel Welch.
As previously announced, Tony nominee Sean Hayes will host the 64th annual Tony Awards telecast, which will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on June 13. The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
