Hugh Jackman isn’t the first actor to have won a Tony Award the same year he hosted the ceremony. He is however the only actor to have hosted, won a Tony, and rode a camel across stage! During the 2004 Tony Awards Jackman donned some very un-Wolverine-like tight, golden pants and a leopard print shirt to embody the flamboyant Peter Allen, the Aussie showman he portrayed in The Boy from Oz. During his performance of “Not the Boy Next Door,” Jackman made said extravagant camelback entrance, then proceeded to improvise, riffing on the many famous faces in the crowd. Broadway veteran Sarah Jessica Parker became his ultimate victim as he pulled the Sex and the City star on stage and persuaded her to show off some seductive dance moves. Take a look!
