Looks like Woody Allen has been keeping up with the New York theatrical scene. Three actors seen on NYC stages this season have been tapped for the summer shoot of his next film, Midnight in Paris, according to Variety.
Alison Pill (currently co-starring with Edie Falco in This Wide Night after playing Annie Sullivan in the Broadway revival of The Miracle Worker), Nina Arianda (the Theatre World Award-winning star of Venus in Fur) and Corey Stoll (featured in the Broadway revival of A View from the Bridge) will be part of a cast headlined by Oscar winners Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody and Marion Cotillard, plus French First Lady Carla Bruni, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen and Owen Wilson.
Midnight in Paris is described as a romantic comedy that follows a family traveling to the city for business, including a young engaged couple who have their lives transformed throughout the journey.
