After being rewarded an honorary Tony for his work with Alzheimers foundations, David Hyde Pierce continued his generosity while answering questions in the press room. Pierce is no stranger to the Tony stage, having taken home the Best Actor award in 2007 for Curtains, but notes that receiving an honorary award is very different. "They called a few weeks ago to tell me they were giving me this award, so I was not sweating bullets tonight," he quips. "That made it more pleasant." Pierce, who took a break tonight from rehearsals of La Bete in London (which is headed for Broadway in the fall), joked, "It's terrible and it's going to be a huge disaster!" And as for those rumors he might join Daniel Radcliffe in the forthcoming How to Succeed revival? "It is absolutely true that I might be," he teased.
