John Logan's Tony-winning play Red finds the stage of the Golden Theatre covered in bright red paint. Now the writer is ready to get drenched in red again—this time in the form of blood! Logan is about to being work on a screenplay adaptation of the summer's hotly awaited vampire novel The Passage. "I can't talk about the screenplay yet, but I'm so excited to work with [director] Ridley Scott again," he said. "We haven't worked together in 10 years, since Gladiator." Their sword and sandal flick took home an Oscar for Best Picture, but Logan had to wait a few years to win an Oscar of his own, for The Aviator. However, the Tony for Best Play goes to the show's producer as well as its author, which Logan joked, "is a much better idea. Everything about Broadway is a better idea!"
