British actor Douglas Hodge, who plays the glamorous, attention-loving drag queen Zaza in La Cage aux Folles, received a Tony Award in his Broadway debut and is ecstatic over his shiny new trophy, but the actor's alter ego loves the attention even more. "My inner Zaza just thinks it's about time I got this!" the actor joked. "I don't think she'd ever believe it." Hodge is scheduled to stay with the show through September, but is considering extending his Broadway run. "The Broadway community has welcomed me in and that [cameraderie] doesn't exist anywhere else in the world," he said. Hodge is even working on writing a musical of his own. While he's mum on details, he revealed that the title is Meantime.
