ImaginOcean Cast Recording Surfs Into Stores July 27

The cast recording of the off-Broadway children's puppet show ImaginOcean will hit stores on July 27. The album will include vocal work from Tony nominee John Tartaglia (who created the show and wrote its book) as well as its director Donna Drake and producer Michael Shawn Lewis. In addition to the seven musical numbers from the show, the album will include two bonus tracks: a remix of the musical's "Jellyfish Jive" plus an additional song called "The Treasure." Tartaglia and co. will appear at a Manhattan Barnes & Noble (150 E. 86th Street) on July 28 at 7pm to celebrate the release of the album and perform songs from the show.

ImaginOcean follows the adventures of three young fish who set out on an oceanwide adventure to find a hidden treasure. The musical opened at New World Stages on March 31 and received a Broadway.com Audience Award nomination for Favorite New off-Broadway Musical.
