South Pacific’s Paulo Szot to Open Café Carlyle Fall Season

Tony winning South Pacific star Paulo Szot will open the newly announced fall season at Café Carlyle, marking the actor’s cabaret debut. Broadway veteran Jessica Molaskey (Sunday in the Park with George) will also appear with her musician husband John Pizzarelli.

Szot will begin performances on September 14 and perform through the 25th. Molasky and Pizzarelli’s run will last from October 5 to November 6.

Following Molaskey and Pizzarelli, vocalist Steve Tyrell will perform November 9 through December 31, while director Woody Allen will continue his tradition of performing Monday evenings alongside the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band beginning September 13.
