Rock of Ages star Constantine Maroulis and ensemble member Angel Reed are expecting a baby together, according to The New York Post. Reed, who has been with the show since its pre-Broadway run in Las Vegas and off-Broadway run in 2008, reportedly gave notice after announcing her pregnancy. Maroulis is scheduled to reprise his Tony-nominated role as rocker Drew in the show’s national tour, which kicks off in Chicago on September 21. Rock of Ages continues its run at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
American Idol finalist Maroulis previously appeared on Broadway in The Wedding Singer and off-Broadway in Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. He was named Broadway.com's 2009 Star of the Year. Reed toured in Saturday Night Fever and appeared in regional productions of West Side Story, Chicago and Debbie Does Dallas.
A production spokesperson had no comment on the Post's report.
