Kristin Chenoweth, Corbin Bleu, Sean Hayes, Kelsey Grammer and a slew of other stars will make some new animal friends at Broadway Barks 12 on July 10 in Shubert Alley. The annual animal adoption event will be hosted by founders Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore. Other newly announced Broadway stars participating in the event include Alexander Hanson, Jackie Hoffman, Chad Kimball, Leigh Ann Larkin, Karen Olivo, Loretta Ables Sayre, Josefina Scaglione, Robin De Jesús, George Akram, Fred Applegate, Brooks Ashmankas, Veanne Cox, Karl Kenzler, Erin Davie, John Dossett and Gina Ferrell. The event begins at 3:30 pm and the stars will present animals in need of homes from 5:15 to 6:30.
Tony Shalhoub, Katie Finneran, Montego Glover, Tony Goldwyn, Ruthie Henshall, Brooke Adams, Bill Berloni, Kevin Chamberlin, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Beth Leavel, Judy McLane, Michael Mastro, Jan Maxwell and Richard Thomas were all previously scheduled to attend.
Broadway Barks is an annual event in which dozens of New York City no-kill animal shelters and adoption agencies fill Shubert Alley in the Theater District with hundreds of animals ready to be adopted as well as information on each of their organizations.
