Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman regularly jumps from stage to screen and back, notably in his acclaimed 2007 performance in the four-person dramedy Jack Goes Boating for Labyrinth Theatre Company. Now Hoffman is making his big-screen directing debut with a film adaptation of Bob Glaudini’s play, which features Hoffman as the title character, a mild-mannered limo driver; original off-Broadway cast members Daphne Rubin-Vega and John Ortiz as his best friends; and Oscar nominee and Broadway vet Amy Ryan as a shy woman who catches Jack's eye. The movie is due out September 17, but for now, take a look at the official trailer of Jack Goes Boating, featuring four of our favorite stage actors.
