With Harry Connick Jr. in Concert on Broadway in full swing over at the Neil Simon Theatre, we wanted to know which past performance by the Emmy-and Grammy-winning and Tony-nominated performer is your favorite. The votes are in, and Leo Markus from Will & Grace took the top spot with 30% of the votes. Connick guest-starred on the hit comedy series from 2002 to 2006 as the frequently traveling doctor husband of Grace, played by Debra Messing.
Here's something to make "Small Talk" about: Second place went to Connick's Tony-nominated performance as Sid Sorokin in the smash 2006 Broadway revival of The Pajama Game, which pulled in 21% of the votes. An early romantic leading role from Connick as cowboy Justin Matisse, from the 1998 Sandra Bullock film Hope Floats, followed in third place with 9% of votes. Trailing closely behind in fourth and fifth place are two other romantic roles: Daniel in the 2007 tearjerker P.S. I Love You (8%) and Lieutenant Cable in the 2001 TV film adapation of the classic musical South Pacific (7%).
