Michael Shannon will star in Craig Wright's Mistakes Were Made at off-Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre. Performances begin November 5 ahead of a November 14 opening, co-starring Mierka Girten and directed by Dexter Bullard. Shannon and Girten are reprising their roles after having starred in the show's 2009 world premeire at Chicago's A Red Orchid Theatre.
Mistakes Were Made follows beleagured Broadway producer Felix Artifex (Shannon) who finds himself in over his head when trying to mount a play about the French Revoulution.
Oscar nominee for Revolutionary Road, Shannon recently appeared as the Stage Manager in the off-Broadway revival of Our Town. Other New York stage credits include Bug and Killer Joe. Girten has appeared in The Walls, With or Without Wings and Weapon of Mass Impact.
