So far, the stars of Broadway’s Million Dollar Quartet have rocked the Great White Way, played a circuit of late-night TV guest spots and been joined onstage at the Nederlander Theatre for live jam sessions with Melissa Etheridge and blues phenom Guy Davis. On August 8, Tony Award winner Levi Kreis (Jerry Lee Lewis), Eddie Clendening (Elvis Presley), Lance Guest (Johnny Cash) and Robert Britton Lyons (Carl Perkins), as well as co-stars Hunter Foster (Sam Phillips) and Elizabeth Stanley (Dyanne) were joined by yet another major musician. Country star Larry Gatlin took the stage for the show's frenzied finale, performing a tribute he wrote for real-life friend Cash titled “Johnny Cash is Dead and His House Burned Down.” If you weren’t at the Sunday matinee, don’t fret.
