Complete casting is set for the national tour of Rock of Ages. As previously announced, the show's original Broadway star, Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis, will reprise his role of Drew alongside MiG Ayesa as Stacee Jaxx when the tour kicks off in Chicago on September 21. Also joining the cast are Nick Cordero (The Toxic Avenger) as Dennis, Rebecca Faulkenberry (High School Musical) as Sherrie, Patrick Lewallen (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Lonny, Teresa Stanley (The Color Purple) as Justice, Casey Tuma (Annie) as Regina, Bret Tuomi (A Christmas Carol) as Hertz and Travis Walker (Chess) as Franz.
The ensemble will feature Angela Brydon, Joey Calveri, Daniel Luis Domenech, Lindsay Janisse, Sean Jenness, Holly Laurent, Lauralynn McClelland, Rashad Naylor, Josh Sassanella and Erika Shannon.
Rock of Ages is set in 1987 on the Sunset Strip, where a small town girl meets a big city rocker in L.A.’s most famous rock club. Their love story is told through the hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more. The tour is scheduled to hit cities such as Seattle, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Dallas, Washington DC and more.
The Broadway production of Rock of Ages continues its run at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
