Lincoln Center Theater’s acclaimed production of South Pacific ended its long run on August 22 with a bang. The Tony-winning revival’s last week on the Great White Way earned a spot in the top five for capacity—coming in third to popular hits The Lion King and Wicked. With original stars Kelli O’Hara and Tony winner Paulo Szot returning for the show’s final bow and PBS airing a taped performance, South Pacific had much to sing about in its farewell week.
