Donna Murphy, Priscilla Lopez, Victor Garber, Lucie Arnaz, Donna McKechnie and more will perform in Six Degrees of Marvin Hamlisch, a concert to benefit the Actors Fund. The event will take place on October 4 at Symphony Space and will also honor longtime Broadway pianist and frequent Hamlisch collaborator, Fran Liebergall (A Chorus Line), who suffers from multiple sclerosis. The performance is produced by Murphy Cross, Paul Kreppel and Bonnie Kole. Cross and Kreppel will direct with Ron Abel serving as musical director.
Other performers scheduled to appear alongside Hamlisch include Kelly Bishop, Liz Callaway, Lesley Gore, Robert Klein, Robert LuPone, Jack Noseworthy, Donald Pippin, Billy Stritch and Sammy Williams.
Hamlisch has composed many Broadway musicals including A Chorus Line, They're Playing Our Song, Smile and The Goodbye Girl.
