Tony nominees Johanna Day and David Garrison complete the full casting for the Vineyard Theatre's Middletown, joining previously announced stars Georgia Engel, Michael Park, Linus Roache and Heather Burns. Written by Will Eno and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, the show beings previews on October 13 with opening night set for November 3.
Day received a Tony nomination for Proof. She also appeared on Broadway in August: Osage County. Her many off-Broadway credits include How I Learned to Drive, Peter and Jerry, Satellites, Helen, Once in a Lifetime, Blue Window and Oliver Parker! Garrison is a Tony nominee for A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine. He has also appeared in Wicked, Bells Are Ringing, Titanic, Torch Song Trilogy and The Pirates of Penzance.
James McMenamin, Cindy Cheung, Ed Jewett, McKenna Kerrigan, Olivia Scott and Pete Simpson round out the cast.
Middletown explores the relationship in a small town between a longtime resident John Dodge (Roache) and new arrival Mary Swanson (Burns).
