Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs Heading Down to Sesame Street

Tony winner Idina Menzel and husband Taye Diggs will guest star on Sesame Street during the popular children show's 41st season. New episodes begin September 27 on PBS. No air date has been announced for their appearance. Menzel and Diggs, who have appeared together on Broadway in Rent and Wicked, are the proud parents of 11-month-old Walker.

Stage veterans Jude Law, Jennifer Garner, Kyra Sedgwick, Ty Burrell, Michael McKean and Sherri Shepard will also make appearances on the upcoming season, along with Amy Poehler, Katy Perry, Jason Bateman, Ryan Reynolds, Usher, Wanda Sykes, Terrence Howard, Natalie Morales, Rebecca Romijn, Zoe Saldana, Ellen Pompeo, Will.i.am, Julie Bowen, Kara DioGuardi, Reggie Bush, LaDainian Tomlinson, Colin Farrell, Jim Parsons, Samantha Harris, Alton Brown and Chris O'Donnell. The season will feature segments parodying pop culture material such as True Blood, The Fantastic Four, The Closer and The A-Team.
