Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Poison on Tap for Glee’s Season Premiere

The hit show Glee is coming back in style! Rolling Stone reports that the musical comedy will feature songs by pop superstars Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and Travie McCoy in its September 21st premiere on Fox.

The premiere episode is set to feature Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind”, Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”, Poison’s “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire.” Broadway fans need not fret that they’re only going Top 40: The episode will also include versions of A Chorus Line’s “What I Did For Love” and The King and I’s “Getting to Know You”, as well as "Listen" from the film-version of Dreamgirls.

Following the season premiere, Glee will air the previously reported all-Britney Spears episode, which will include five songs by the pop princess. Rolling Stone also hints that a new cast album will be released this fall.
