L’Chaim! In the Heights' Lin-Manuel Miranda Toasts His Bride on Their Wedding Day

What better way to surprise your new wife on her wedding day than with a production number at the reception? That’s exactly what In the Heights creator Lin-Manuel Miranda did when he wed his sweetheart Vanessa Nadal on September 5. Miranda gathered friends and family and rehearsed with them in secret for a month leading up to the wedding. The final product?  A full-on dance number to Fiddler on the Roof’s “L’Chaim,” featuring the fathers of the bride and groom, entire wedding party, family members and guests! We’d say Vanessa looks sufficiently surprised and who wouldn't grin at the glee on Lin’s face each time he yells “wife”? Congrats to the happy couple!
