Earlier this week news broke that former Saturday Night Live funny lady Molly Shannon will make her Broadway debut when she joins the cast of Promises, Promises next month as boozin' barfly Marge MacDougall. Shannon is the latest SNL star to bring her comedic chops to the Great White Way, following Will Ferrell (You're Welcome America), Ana Gasteyer (Wicked), Martin Short (Fame Becomes Me) and Darrell Hammond (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee).
