Yeah, Yeah, Yeah! Tickets Now On Sale for Beatles Tribute Show Rain

Good day, sunshine: Tickets for Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles are now on sale! Performances will begin on October 19 and run through January 2, 2011 at the Neil Simon Theatre. Opening night has been set for October 26.

This multimedia show, created by veterans of Beatlemania, will cover songs starting in the band’s early days, from their seminal appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show through Shea Stadium and the Abbey Road years. The concert includes historical film footage and television commercials, plus live cameras zooming in for close-ups of the band. Rain presents the kind of show fans didn't get to see in real life, as the Beatles' final concert tour in 1966 pre-dated such iconic releases at Sgt. Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road.
