Oh, what a thrill! Audience members were treated to a double dose of Jerry Lee Lewis on September 10 when the man himself dropped by the Nederlander to jam with the cast of Million Dollar Quartet. The Killer performed three post-show songs with the stage incarnations of Elvis Presley (Eddie Clendening), Johnny Cash (Lance Guest), Carl Perkins (Rob Lyons), and, of course, himself (Tony winner Levi Kreis). The night was surely a thrill for the cast, who count Lewis as a longtime musical idol. After all, if the last surviving member of the original million dollar quartet stopped by to rock out, they must be doing something right.
