Time Stands Still Returns to Broadway

The return engagement of Donald Margulies' Tony-nominated drama Time Stands Still begins performances at the Cort Theatre, starring Laura Linney and Brian d'Arcy James. The acclaimed production made its Broadway premiere last season at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Time Stands Still centers on Sarah and James (played by Linney and James), a photographer and journalist who have been together for nine years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when injuries force them to return home to New York, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life. Bogosian and Ricci co-star as Sarah’s editor and his much-younger girlfriend, who questions Sarah’s choices.
