It may still be fall, but it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas on Broadway as tickets for the upcoming holiday musical Elf are now on sale! Performances for the Christmas tuner begin November 2 ahead of a November 14 opening at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
Based on the popular 2003 movie of the same name, the show stars Sebastian Arcelus as Buddy, a human orphan raised at Santa Claus' North Pole workshop who believes he is a Christmas elf. When Buddy learns the identity of his true parents, he sets out to New York City to find his birth father who (gasp!) is on Santa's naughty list. The show co-stars Tony winner Beth Leavel, Amy Spanger and Cheers' George Wendt as Santa.
It's never to early to start thinking about that perfect holiday present: With a limited run through January 2, 2011 Elf is bound to be one popular show, so book your tickets for the perfect holiday theatrical outing today!
