With Halloween right around the corner, Broadway.com is celebrating all week by filling your online trick-or-treat bags with some past Broadway Halloween-themed video goodies! First up is a flashback to the 2004 New York City Halloween parade, in which Wicked's Idina Menzel and then-co-star Jennifer Laura Thompson joined the costumed crowds on the streets of Greenwich Village for the evening's festivities. While the duo didn't appear in costume as Glinda and Elphaba, Menzel (who was fresh off her Best Actress Tony win) and Thompson had plenty of witchy wannabes (not all of them female!) on hand behind a huge Wicked banner marking the show's first anniversary on Broadway. The show's always-game composer, Stephen Schwartz, joined the fun, too. Take a look at the popular girls below!
