22nd Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition

The 22nd annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Gypsy of the Year competition takes place at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre. There will be a performance at 4:30pm on December 6 and 2pm on December 7.

One of the most loved industry events of the fall season, the Gypsy of the Year competition pits Broadway and off-Broadway’s most talented “gypsies,” also known as chorus members, against one another in a show that’s one part competition, one part wild variety show. The event itself is the culmination of six weeks of fund raising for BC/EFA.
