What is it about Al Pacino that makes him such an acting icon? Is it the intensity, the commanding presence, the killer face, that unmistakably smoky voice? Hard to say. But this much we know: it takes a big personality to inspire comedians to impersonate somebody, and there is perhaps no one more inspirational than Pacino. With that in mind, we’ve decided to have a little fun with the Oscar-winning icon, who is back on the Broadway boards playing Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. The following jokesters hath not Al’s hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions… and if you prick them, they certainly do not bleed Pacino’s blood. But they do make us smile.
