Iconic sibling entertainers Donny and Marie Osmond are extending their Broadway engagement. Donny & Marie - A Broadway Christmas, which was originally scheduled to close on December 19, will play an additional nine performances through December 30. The sister-brother act will begin take the stage at Broadway’s Marriott Marquis Theatre beginning on December 9.
Donny appeared on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast, and Marie appeared on Broadway in The King and I, but this will be the first time the pair is sharing a Broadway stage. The siblings became famous in 1976 with their hit TV variety show. They are currently headlining the Flamingo Showroom in Las Vegas, and will release their first studio album in over two decades this spring.
Donny & Marie - A Broadway Christmas promises to celebrate the joy of the season with “a mix of Christmas production numbers” and the duo’s “irresistible chemistry that made them international stars." No word yet on whether the Dancing with the Stars champ (Donny) and finalist (Marie) will showcase any fancy footwork on the Great White Way.
