Pee-Wee Herman Brings His 'Big Adventure' to Broadway on Opening Night

After a nearly two decade absence, fun-loving Puppetland resident Pee-wee Herman has made a triumphant return thanks to the Broadway run of The Pee-wee Herman Show. Droves of celebrity Pee-wee fans and supporters came out to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre to catch his opening night performance on November 11. Veterans of Pee-wee's iconic TV series Pee-wee's Playhouse were also on hand to revisit fond memories and find out what the night's "secret word" would be. After an evening of giddy screaming and whimsical entertainment, the audience headed to the Bryant Park Grill to celebrate with the show's cast.
