From an Oscar-winning guest star (Gwyneth Paltrow) to performances of Broadway classics and top 40 hits, plus Sue's rise to principal of McKinley High and the return of Darren Criss, there was plenty going on in the world of McKinley High. Though Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) found himself bed-ridden due to a bout with the flu, his absence paved the way for the exciting introduction of substitute teacher Holly Holliday (Paltrow).
