Rain: A Tribute to The Beatles plays its final performance at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre.
This multimedia show, created by veterans of Beatlemania, covers songs starting in the band’s early days, from their seminal appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show through Shea Stadium and theAbbey Road years. The concert includes historical film footage and television commercials, plus live cameras zooming in for close-ups of the band. Rain presents the kind of show fans didn't get to see in real life, as the Beatles' final concert tour in 1966 pre-dated such iconic releases at Sgt. Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road.
