While the stars of the new musical Spider-Man, Turn Off The Dark have previously compared the show's megastar composer Bono to the title character, it turns out the rocker identifies more with the devious villain, the Green Goblin. Bono and his U2 bandmate/show co-composer, The Edge, recently sat down with MTV to discuss working on Broadway. While Bono noted the similarities between himself and Spider-Man ("He grew up in Queens, we grew up on the north side of Dublin, [we both had] fairly humble origins. He falls in love with the girl next door, I married the girl next door") he ultimately sides with the Green Goblin and likens the Edge to Spider-Man.
