After recently closing at the Union Square Theatre, Daniel Beaty's Through the Night has found a new off-Broadway home. The solo show will begin performances on Monday nights at the Westside Theatre on January 24, 2011. Through the Night will use the space occupied for the rest of the week by Love, Loss and What I Wore. Both shows are produced by Daryl Roth.
Directed by Charles Randolph-Wright, Through the Night follows six different characters (all played by Beaty) as they confront life changing predicaments on the same evening. The characters, whose lives frequently interact, include an elderly preacher, his career driven son, a recent high school graduate readying for college, an ex-con awaiting the birth of his first child, a health foods store owner and his young son.
