A group of fashionable actresses including Tony nominee Orfeh (Legally Blonde), Tony nominee Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent) and Alexis Bledel (TV's Gilmore Girls) are set to join upcoming casts off-Broadway's Love, Loss and What I Wore. The hit show, written by Nora and Delia Ephron and directed by Karen Carpenter, continues its run at the Westside Theatre with rotating monthly casts.
Brenda Braxton (Chicago) will complete the previously announced December cast alongside Didi Conn, Kate Flannery, Loretta Swit and Mary Testa, beginning December 8. The cast will perform through January 9, 2011. Former Gilmore Girls star Bledel will head up the cast from January 12 through February 13, joining previously announced co-stars Pauletta Washington, Anita Gillette and Judy Gold. An additional cast member will be announced at a later date.
Orfeh joins the February cast alongside Barbara Rhoades (The Goodbye Girl) and Sabrina Le Beauf beginning February 16. The group will perform through March 19 with additional co-stars to be announced later.
Rubin-Vega (who returns to the off-Broadway stage on December 13 in the New Group's production of Blood from a Stone) and Annie Stark (Paradise Road) will appear from March 23 through April 24.
