Julie Taymor Compares Spider-Man to Shakespeare on The Colbert Report

Tony winner Julie Taymor is quite the busy woman these days. Not only is she busy prepping the new mega-musical Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, but the visionary director is also out promoting her new film adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tempest (which also stars Spider-Man lead Reeve Carney). On December 9 Taymor sat down with funny man Stephen Colbert to discuss why the 400 year-old play is still relevant and how the Bard and Spidey aren't so different. Take a look below!
