As the curtain goes down on 2010, Broadway.com is looking ahead to the new year. We’ve asked the brightest stars on Broadway to reflect on their personal highlights from the past year and to reveal their hopes for 2011. Check out what they had to say, and have a Happy New Year!
TODD ROBBINS (Play Dead)
Highlight of 2010: “Though the off-Broadway opening of Play Dead (after five years of joyous effort) is noteworthy, the real highlight happened during one of the early previews. An audience member walking out of the theater after a performance turned around, went up to the box office and bought a ticket to see the show again. And it pleases me to see this happen time and time again. The highlight of the year has to be not only having people enjoy the show, but seeing them come back repeatedly.”
Resolution for 2011: “To do all the things I promised to do last new year's. This is the resolution I make every year. I am the king of procrastination. And you know what they say about procrastination? Oh, I'll tell you later.”
