It was a fittingly frothy opening night for the Roundabout Theatre Company production of Oscar Wilde's classic The Importance of Being Earnest, which bowed at Broadway’s American Airlines Theatre on January 13. Tony winner Brian Bedford led the company as both director and leading “lady” Lady Bracknell in this bubbly comedy of manners and mistaken identities, and after the show, an appreciative audience of Roundabout regulars and Broadway’s brightest joined the talented cast to party the evening away at the nearby B.B. King's Blues Club and Grill for the first-night fete. Click on below to check out Earnest’s enchanting opening night!
