The Broadway company of The Phantom of the Opera has had plenty of celebrations in more than two decades at the Majestic Theatre, but each year’s birthday is extra-special for the Great White Way’s longest-running show. On January 26, Phantom marked its 23rd anniversary at the Wednesday matinee. Current stars Hugh Panaro, Sara Jean Ford and Sean MacLaughlin topped off a stirring performance by cutting a birthday cake and chatting with Broadway.com about what the show means to them.
