Theater fans in need of a little extra shiver this winter need look no further than the West End revival of Lillian Hellman’s boarding school drama The Children’s Hour, starring Oscar nominee Keira Knightley and Mad Men Emmy nominee Elisabeth Moss. These two talented actresses are slipping into the show's starring roles of Karen Wright and Martha Dobie, founders of an all-girls' school who get caught in a web of lies woven by a spiteful student. When a student named Mary runs away from school and seeks to avoid being sent back, she draws on hearsay, gossip, and her own imagination to concoct a story that threatens the school, Martha’s marriage and their entire futures. The Ian Rickson helmed-show, which has just announced it will extend, began performances on January 22 and opens on February 9 at London's Comedy Theatre.
