Broadway Vet Christina Applegate Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Actress Christina Applegate, a Best Actress Tony nominee for playing the title role in the 2005 Broadway revival of Sweet Charity, gave birth to her first child, Sadie Grace LeNoble, on January 27 in Los Angeles. According to her spokesperson, “Mother and daughter are doing great.”

The 39-year-old Applegate has been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2010 to 41-year-old musician Martyn LeNoble, her boyfriend of almost three years. A breast cancer survivor, the actress most recently starred in the TV series Samantha Who? and will be featured in the upcoming big-screen comedy Hall Pass, starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis.
