Broadway may be dark on Mondays, but the neon lights were bright at Manhattan’s Lucky Strike Lanes on February 7, when stars of stage and screen came out to bowl for a good cause. At Second Stage Theatre’s 24th annual All-Star Bowling Classic, famous folks ranging from Anthony Mackie and Billy Crudup to Karen Ziemba and Stephanie J. Block donned polyester shirts and two-tone shoes to captain a bowling team of lucky donors in support of the off-Broadway company. The competition may have been fierce, but the real winner of the evening was Second Stage, which raised funds to support the production of shows such as Gruesome Playground Injuries and upcoming By the Way, Meet Vera Stark.
