It was a special night over at the St. James Theatre on February 27 as a trio of American Idiot stars bid farewell to the rocking show. Not only did the night mark the final performance of Green Day front man Billie Joe Armstrong, but original stars John Gallagher Jr. (who earned a Broadway.com Audience Award for his work) and Michael Esper also departed from the hit tuner. In addition to the musical's usual encore, Armstrong broke out his guitar to send off Gallagher and Esper in style with an energetic rendition of the Breakaways' classic "Walking Out On Love." Click below to celebrate with the boys, and get ready for a new crew of Idiots when Van Hughes, Justin Guarini and AFI's Davey Havok take over on March 1.
