The Broadway revival of Driving Miss Daisy, starring Vanessa Redgrave and James Earl Jones, plays its final performance at Broadway's Golden Theatre.
This timeless comedy charts the relationship between Daisy Werthan (Redgrave), a widowed, 72-year-old Jewish woman in midcentury Atlanta, and Hoke Colburn (Jones), the African-American man hired by her son, Boolie (Gaines), as Daisy’s chauffeur. Over the course of the next 25 years, a relationship that begins in hostility blossoms into a profound friendship.
