The buzzy new musical Prometheus Bound is currently running at Boston’s American Repertory Theater in a production that reunites Tony nominee Gavin Creel (in the title role) and his Hair director, Diane Paulus. The show, inspired by Aeschylus’ ancient Greek tragedy about the suffering of the first prisoner of conscience, is written by Tony Award winner Steven Sater (Spring Awakening), with music by System of a Down lead singer Serj Tankian.
