Cactus Flower Revival Blossoms on Opening Night

The ’60s are back—onstage, at least, at off-Broadway’s Westside Theatre, where a revival of Cactus Flower opened on March 10. Abe Burrows’ 1965 romantic comedy has been given new life in a production starring Maxwell Caulfield as dentist with commitment issues, Lois Robbins as his loyal assistant and Jenni Barber as his kooky young girlfriend. After the first-night performance, the company and guests (including our favorite sister act, Hayley and Juliet Mills) toasted the show and celebrated with cake.
