Leslie Kritzer Steps in For Injured Christine Pedi In Newsical

Leslie Kritzer will join the cast of off-Broadway's Newsical: Full Spin Ahead on March 25 at Theatre Row's Kirk Theatre. Kritzer is stepping in to the production for Christine Pedi, who recently left after suffering an ankle injury. Kritzer will remain with the show through April 23 with Pedi returning on April 24.

Kritzer's Broadway credits include Sondheim on Sondheim, A Catered Affair, Legally Blonde and Hairspray. She has appeared off-Broadway in Rooms: A Rock Romance, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Bat Boy: The Musical and Godspell.

Newsical, which features music by Rick Crom, frequently changes to reflect the latest current events. With Kritzer joining the cast, new sketches will be added to spoof recent headline-makers such as Charlie Sheen and the upcoming royal wedding. Newsical also stars Mark Waldrop, Chrstina Bianco, Michael West, John Walton West, Amy Griffin and Tommy Walker.
